A Brief History of Melbourne Metro Scan

Melbourne Metro Scan is a personal radio scanning website which was founded back in 2001,

focusing on radio scanner frequencies for the Melbourne area. It was hosted by Geocities for 8 years.

Until 2009 when Yahoo closed down hosting at Geocities after that:

Melbourne Metro Scan will probably not be updated very often these days as with the

encryption of radio transmissions the hobby of radio scanning has diminished over

the years but i know there are still people intrested in radio scanning so hopefully

this site can still be a good reference point.
